IV loves playing under the Christmas tree.He like the ribbons as you can see on the green package.

Christmas card picture this year!Christmas just seems so different this year. Last year it seemed like I could really relate to Mary...well not really b/c I was not being accused of adultery and never rode on a donkey before I gave birth! But You know...we were both pregnant...that makes us alike, right? Well anyway, this year, Mary seems even more amazing to me.
I barely let IV touch anything that might be germy and yet Mary put Jesus down in a manger full of hay surrounded by farm animals and strangers! I bet the Wise Men didn't have hand sanitizer! Mary just seemed to be so...what's the word....Trusting. The angel came to her, tells he she is going to be prego by the Holy Spirit and her reaction is "I am a Servant; May it be as you have said"! Seriously? This could not have been on her Wedding Planning To Do List! She just Trusted.
So this Christmas, I want to not worry so much about my To Do list but more have an attitude of "I am your Servant; May it be as you say." More Trusting of Him who lay in a manger and was born to a woman to trusted...may I be that for IV!
