The Happiest Baby on the Block...with Swine Flu

I don't think anyone told him that he was just diagnosed with the Swine Flu!

After he woke from his nap, his eyes looked a little 'feverish'

I was SHOCKED this morning when the test results came back as the H1N1 virus! He had no fever and was just congested. I thought I was being one of 'those' 1st time moms who bring their child into the dr over a sniffle. Thank goodness I did not waste any time!

IV and I stopped at People's Rx to get his Tamiflu and to pick up some Sambucus for III and I so we don't get the virus. IV slept from the dr to the Rx and then home..about 45 mins.

When we got home we was so happy and I was still (silently) questioning this diagnosis. He seemed fine. He continued to be so happy and chatty all day. He skipped his 1:00 nap so at 4:00 I decided to put him down and see if he would rest. He slept for about 45 min and woke up with a fever and VERY congested. Poor thing could not breath through his nose at all. He was grumpy for about 20 mins and then was happy the rest of the evening.

I am going to sleep on his floor tonight...SLUMBER PARTY IN IV's room! WHOOOHOOO! I pray that we get some sleep!
