Z and IV have been hanging out a little bit (Pictured above) and they really do love each other. Z is so calm when IV cries and he pretty much sleeps through everything at night.
Yesterday (8/11) IV is 6 weeks old! Where does the time go? I know moms talk about how fast they grow up but you really don't realize what they mean til you are there.
Yesterday was an eventful day....IV and I had our 1st outing on our own. We went to Hobby Lobby to buy some ribbon for a diaper cake I am making. He slept the entire time.
Then once we got back home we had some visitors...Misty, Mollie, Denise, Easton, Cooper, Ginger, Chloe and Hayden. It was great to have friends over and to be able to catch up with them. I have missed them!
Some news things about IV...he smiles all the time now, he is starting to 'talk' to us when we talk to him, he is sleeping about four and a half hours at night before he wakes to eat, we sing "Rise and Shine and give God the Glory, Glory" every morning, we also sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" everyday, and today we played "Peek-a-boo" for the first time, he still crying during most diaper changes and baths, we have been to church twice and we all may go on a family date on Saturday!
III and I are doing great. We went on an 'unofficial' date while III's mom was here to IHOP (unofficial b/c we only had 45 mins and thought our new IHOP would be fast) and then we went on an 'official' date last weekend while Mom and Dad were here to Texas Land and Cattle.
* As you might notice I used Letters and Roman numbers instead of names to protect our family!
I can't wait to see IV dancing to The Itsy Bitsy Spider like Gray does...it's amazing how soon they start recognizing songs you sing to them! :)
