Our Little Swimmer

We went to Emler Swim School on Wed for our 1st 'swim' class. They just started a class for 3-6mo old babies to teach us what we can do during bath time to get them ready for the WaterBabies class that will start at 6mos old.
As soon as we got him in his reusable swim diaper and swim suit, he decided to do #1 and #2!!! So, off the swim wear came and we had to wash it out and start over! Thankfully it happened before we got in the pool!!!
Our teacher, Ms Glenna, was VERY impressed with IV's temperament. He was so comfortable in the water and enjoyed 'floating' around! We looks forward to our class every week!

4 month well check

We had our 4 month well check today and that he is! The Dr said that he is the picture of health and there are no signs of H1N1 hanging around! He is developing accordingly, does all the things he is suppose to be doing and is a BIG boy! He weights 15lbs and 11 oz which is 50-75 percentile, he is 26 1/4in long which is 75-90 percentile (Jay's dreams of a UNC basketball player may come true!) and his head is 44.8cm around which is 95 percentile!!!!!!!!!! WOW!

Recently, IV has become much more aware of everything around him. Zeke happens to catch his attention the most! I am so glad I capture these moments on video...they are so sweet! And as you might imagine, Zeke is so sweet and gentle with IV. We are so thankful for him and all that he means to our family! We cant wait til IV is crawling all over him!

A Pumpkin Kinda Day

We spent the morning at Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls, Tx

And then he became a pumpkin!

Our 1st Halloween was really fun. I loved going to the Pumpkin Patch and cant wait to go back when he is older! We spent the evening at our neighbor, Mary Jo and Scott's house! It was a great day!

1 * 2 * 3 * 4 MONTHS....really?

Our sweet IV is 4 months old! It is truly unbelievable to me. He is so strong and wants to 'stand' all the time. His eyes are still a navy-gray color...I know that doesn't really make since but that is what they are. His hair is BLONDE and lots of it! We still don't really know where he got the blonde hair from...maybe Zeke? He is such a happy, smilely baby! When you smile at him, he always smiles back! He has found my hair...and loves to pull it! Thank goodness I dont have a tender head. He is back to sleeping 10pm-7am which is so nice!

He is our JOY and we love him so much. He is so much fun to be around and play with! We cherish every day!
